Mabuhay! I am Reilly Raje C. Angeles, a fourth-year college student at Far Eastern University (MANILA). I am a pre-service teacher focusing on Special Needs Education who had the opportunity to be a part of the Batch 9 SEA Teacher Student Exchange Program. 

Why choose to teach?

At a young age, I have seen my father become a great teacher and mentor, whom I have looked up to. His greatness in teaching is what made me dream of being someone like him. A teacher who can teach in the beauty of diversity, a teacher who despite having different languages and cultures with the students, can provide knowledge and happiness to those she teaches.

Being in Kendari made me realize that it is not impossible to become the teacher that I dreamt of being and this place allowed me to be genuinely happy while teaching. Hence, I would like us to look back on the fruitful knowledge and experiences I had in this city; as Kendari will always have a place in my heart.
